Homes & small businesses

Your tech, set up right. Fixed when it isn’t.

Hands-on help with the things you plug in, connect and rely on: computers and phones, Wi-Fi that reaches every room, smart home gear that actually works together, TVs on the wall with the cables out of sight, and the printer that won’t print.

Quick remote help, or a house call when it needs hands. Ask for a quote — no surprises.

Wait. You can DO that?

The back bedroom that never had Wi-Fi. Fixed in one visit.

A common one: the router sits in a cabinet at one end of the house, and the far room gets one bar on a good day. Here is what a single house call can change.

AfterFull bars, every room

  1. Walk the house with a meter. We find exactly where the signal drops, room by room.
  2. Move what’s blocking it. Often the router just needs to come out of the cabinet.
  3. Add one small mesh point. Only if it’s needed, placed where it covers the gap.
  4. Test it with you. Your phone, in that bedroom, before we leave.

An example of a typical fix. Every home is different; we’ll tell you what yours needs before we do anything.

Got an error on the screen? Snap a photo of it.

Attach it to your request and we can often tell what’s wrong before we call you back — sometimes the fix is a short remote session, not a visit.

Remote help or a house call

Start small. We come out when it needs hands.

Tell us what’s going on and we’ll suggest the simplest way to fix it. You decide.

Remote help

Quick · the lower-cost option
  • We talk you through it on the phone, or connect to your computer only with your permission, while you watch
  • Best for: software that misbehaves, email and account setup, “how do I…?”, slow computers, printer settings
  • You can end a session any time

House call

The upgrade · we come to you
  • For anything that needs hands: Wi-Fi dead spots, mounting a TV, wiring up the smart home, setting up an office
  • We test everything with you before we leave
  • Homes and small businesses

Pricing: we quote per visit, before any work starts — just ask for a quote. A monthly “go-to tech” plan is coming.

Homes and businesses

At home or at work, the same patient help.

For your home

The family laptop, the parents’ new phone, the Wi-Fi upstairs, the doorbell camera still in its box. We explain things in plain words and leave you with notes, not jargon.

For small businesses

Printers, shared files, the front-desk computer, a new hire’s laptop, a tidy network closet. We help you choose sensibly and set it up so it keeps working.

We only pass anything along to Solom or RedPill if you ask us to.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

What can you fix remotely, and what needs a visit?

Remote works well for software problems, account and email setup, slow computers, printer settings and “how do I…?” questions. A house call is for anything physical: Wi-Fi coverage, mounting, cabling, setting up new hardware, smart home installs, office setups. If you’re not sure, tell us what’s happening and we’ll suggest the simplest option.

How much does it cost?

We quote per visit, before any work starts, so you know where you stand. Ask for a quote through the request form. A monthly “go-to tech” plan is coming for people who’d like someone on call. We don’t take payment online.

How does remote help work? Is it safe?

We only connect to your computer when you ask us to and give permission on your own screen. You can watch everything we do and end the session at any time.

Do you do wiring, or electrical work?

Low-voltage and cabling jobs — network cable runs, hiding TV cables, wall plates — ask us and we’ll tell you what we can do for your space. We don’t do electrical work (new outlets, circuits, panels); for that you need a licensed electrician, and we’ll say so.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes. We start with homes, and we help small businesses and home offices too: printers, shared files, staff laptops and phones, office networks and equipment.

Can you help me choose what to buy?

Yes — and we’ll tell you when you don’t need to buy anything at all.

Will you text me?

No. We reply by email or call you back on the number you give us — whichever you prefer.

What happens to the photo I send?

It’s safety-checked when it arrives and used only to understand your problem. If it can’t be checked, we don’t accept it and we’ll ask you to send the request without it.

Tell us what’s going on.

A few lines is plenty. We’ll get back to you with the simplest way to fix it.
